The company has undertaken the expansion of a web application/platform for mapping biomass and biochar flows in the Regional Unit of Florina within the framework of the project “MUSIC – Market Up-take Support for Intermediate Bioenergy Carriers” (Horizon 2020) on behalf of the Center for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving (CRES).

The MUSIC project supports the market uptake of three types of bioenergy carriers (fast pyrolysis bio-oil, torrefied biomass, and microbial oil) by developing economically viable methods for biomass collection, transportation, and trade hubs. To this end, the design of biomass supply chain schemes is essential, encompassing the stages of collection, intermediate storage, and distribution to the end-user.
