For the Planning and Development Directorate of the Region of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace, dissemination material for the public deliverables of the program “ROME – Roman, ancient Greek and amber routes, innovative Methodologies and measures connecting Europe” under the INTERREG IIIB-CADSES Community Initiative was produced.
In the first phase of the project, the development and reproduction of printed material titled “Guide to European Thematic (Geo-Cultural) Parks” was carried out. The A3-sized brochure, printed in 1,500 copies, was distributed to schools. It contained information about the program’s activities and general details about parks, available in five European languages (Greek, English, Italian, French, and German). Additionally, an A4-sized brochure titled “Guide to European Thematic Parks” was produced in 4,000 copies. This brochure, written in Greek, was distributed to educational institutions in the Region of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace, containing information about the program’s activities and general details about parks.
During this phase, an informative dossier on geo-cultural heritage was developed, and the website created for the ROME project was reviewed and evaluated.
In the second phase of the project, a multimedia portal for the Region of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace was developed. The portal contained deliverables from the ROME program and additional sections for the exchange of ideas (Forum) between public authorities and services, as well as dynamic maps of the region highlighting archaeological findings from the ROME program. Lastly, supporting and educational materials were produced for the users of the portal.
